Country 33: Chad
I quite liked my Chadian meal, I thought it turned out effective and tasty. It was probably not quite right - the couscous was particularly citrusy, I think I put too much lemon and orange rind into it, but otherwise I was pretty darn happy with this meal!
A few facts about Chad:
- The country is named after Lake Chad, not the other way around.
- There are over 200 ethnic groups in Chad, and more than 100 languages. The official languages, however, are Arabic and French.
- The Sahara Desert takes up about 1/3 of Chad's land area.
